The mini mission prompt for December over on Mission Inspiration is Unicorn. The rest of the alphabet prompts should be released before the end of the year too, so I can finish my tag journal. I have completed all the mini mission prompts on #8 manilla tags and bound them together with a large book ring.
I started by adding the top layer of a paper towel mop up sheet onto a #8 manilla tag. It had mopped up various Distress Oxides and had also been used to try out some stamping (Clarity NDC #101 Agapanthus and #99 Daisies). The sheet was sealed with matte medium, dried and trimmed.
I stamped the Unicorn stamp (Clarity NDC #120) directly onto the tag in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear EP.
The Unicorn was coloured in Sakura Moonlight pens.
The word Unicorn was added in the same way as the image, using the Word Chain Alphabet stamps from Claritystamp. I followed the shape of the unicorn itself.
'Be' and 'a' come from the Tim Holtz Chit Chat sticker book and were layered to mimic the horn of the unicorn. The rest of the quote was printed using my Dymo Letratag onto clear plastic, trimmed and added to the tag.
