This is my third Festive art journal page in response to the December prompt over on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More. I loved her art journal page and decided to use a similar theme, although using different methods.
I worked on a piece of mixed media card (18.5cm x 19.5cm). I added the largest Clarity Moon Mask, a piece of torn copy paper to make a hill and blended Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide through the Clarity Birch Trees stencil. I moved the stencil across the page to fit the width and continued inking through.
Once the moon mask was removed, I replaced the stencil and brushed Moon Crater Artistry ink across the moon. The stencil was then removed. Next, I stamped the Holly Deer stamp (Clarity New Design Club Back Order 121) in Acorn archival ink using my TH stamp platform and used a water brush to remove some of the Oxide behind the image. I added shading on the ground using the copy paper hill and Moon Crater ink on a Spot On Sponge. I then blended some of the colour out using a water brush. I shaded in the deer using my water brush and Roasted Chestnut Artistry ink on my glass mat.
Once dry, I added some Glamour Dust using Cosmic Shimmer acrylic glue.

Next, I added a quote from the Tim Holtz Small Talk Occasions sticker book, painting Moon Crater ink around the edge.
To finish, I added shading down the side of the birch trees using Moon Crater ink and my water brush.
