Two of my friends have late December birthdays. I decided to use a card design that I made at a workshop with Maria Moorhouse for one and finish a second card in the same style for the other friend.
I started with a piece of stamping card 12.8cm x 19cm. Three circles of different sizes cut from post it notes were added to the card.
The Casablanca Lilies stencil from Claritystamp was laid over the top and Ocean Teal Artistry ink brushed through fading out towards the left. The stencil was removed and Lavender Dash added in the same way.
I stamped the large Agapanthus stamp (Claritystamp) in Cobalt Archival ink within the large circle, the bee from the same set in the small circle and added Happy (Mini Word Chain 13&14) and Birthday (Mini Word Chains 3&4) in the medium circle.
Lavender Dash was used to paint the bee and Agapanthus.
The finished topper was matted onto navy blue card and added to an A5 white hammered card blank.
The original card designed by Maria was in shades of yellow and grey and used the Dahlia stamp set and Mountain Ash stencil.
