Minimalism: Have Less, Be More an Art Journal Page

The November prompt over on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More was Art Movements.  Week 2 was anything goes, so I chose minimalism as my inspiration and also found a matching quote.  I don't think it will ever apply to crafters, as 'have less' is so hard to apply to our crafty stashes.
As usual, I worked on mixed media card (18.5cm x 19.5cm).  First, I applied Festive Berries Distress Oxide through the Clarity A5 Zigzag stencil.
Next, I added Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides to the round Gel Press Petite using a blending tool.  This was then 'stamped' onto the surface using a 4" x 4" mega mount.
The triangle Gel Press Petite was inked up and stamped in the same way five times along the bottom of the page, using Abandoned Coral, Mustard Seed and Wild Honey Distress Oxides.
Finally, the quote was printed onto clear plastic using my Dymo Letratag, trimmed and added in the bottom corner.
I think I have kept to the spirit of minimalism by leaving white space, using simple shapes and keeping to a limited colour palette.
