Challenge: Resist, Ink, Bronze

I created this tag in response to the prompts for Explore Your Creativity Challenge 3 on Junk Journal Junkies and Mindful art.  Usually I create an art journal page, but I decided to go with a tag for a change.  The prompts include a technique: resist, a product: ink and a colour: bronze.  I am also entering it into the December challenge on Country View Challenges: Christmas.
I created a resist using two different methods.  First of all I blended Versamark ink onto a #8 manilla tag through a section of the Merry Christmas mini layering stencil by Tim Holtz (THMS098), then heat embossed using Bright White detail embossing powder by Cosmic Shimmer.
Festive Berries Distress ink was then blended over the top.
This area was masked off with copy paper, then mica sprays in Antiqued Bronze (Distress) and Lava Red (Cosmic Shimmer) were spritzed above and below.  Once dry, these formed a second resist and the rest of the tag was covered in Festive Berries Distress ink.  The resist areas were burnished with a dry paper towel to clean off the ink.
The Marianne Ice Crystals Arc and the Let it Snow sentiment from the Peeking Snowflakes die set by Sue Wilson were die cut from watercolour card and gone over with a clear Sparkle pen (Spectrum Noir).  These were added above the Merry Christmas band.
A 'bronze' brad which says love was added at the bottom to help wish all my followers and JJJAMA friends a merry Christmas!
