The challenge on Tag Tuesday for the rest of 2017 is Christmas Memories. I can vividly remember Boxing Day walks on Cannock Chase with the family every year as a child, so my tag reflects this.
I started by gluing a dry baby wipe (used to mop up Ecoline pens) onto a #8 manilla tag to create a background. This was sealed with matt medium, dried and trimmed.
I happened to have some fir trees (Marianne Christmas Village decoration set and XCut Woodland Trees) in my bit box, die cut from dark green card. I also had a snow flake/star (from the same Marianne die set) in white. These were glued into place and the right hand tree trimmed level with the edge of the tag. I added some 'frost/snow' using glue and the Nuvo Glitter Diamond by Tonic Studios (the glue will dry clear). The final touch was to add a grey squirrel (Cheery Lynn Birch Tree with Cute Critters die) and an apt sentiment from the Small Talk Occasions sticker book by Tim Holtz.
