Kitty Key Holder!

This was made for my sister for Christmas and can now be shared as she has received and opened her gift.  She has three black and white cats, although the ones on the key holder are far more svelte than the fluffy creatures which rule the roost in her home.  I just hope they don't go crazy at the sight of these interlopers!
The base is a pre cut MDF kit by Creative Expressions and was glued together using strong acrylic glue.
It was given a primer coat all over of white gesso so that the acrylic top coat would not sink into the MDF.
The three MDF cat shapes were given a base coat of black gesso, then a top coat of black metallic acrylic paint (DoCrafts).
They fit perfectly when tried along the front of the key holder.
The key holder was then given a coat of Sand acrylic paint and, once dry, a natural sponge was used to dab gold paint over the top.
The cats had details added in white acrylic paint to match their big brother and sisters.
All that was needed then was to glue the cats in pride of place along the front of the key holder.
