Non Traditional Quick Christmas Cards

I had to batch make some Christmas cards as I was running low on my stocks.  I wanted to create some cards in non traditional colours and also that were each unique.  I therefore used Brushos and Pixie Powders (Cosmic Shimmer) to create some backgrounds.
I worked on Sheena's stamping card (13.8cm x 9.5cm) which was eventually matted onto orange card (14.3cm x 10cm) to fit an A6 card blank (A5 folded in half).  Each piece was spritzed lightly with water, Leaf Green Brusho powder, Sandstone Brusho Powder and a little Golden Mint Pixie Powder was tapped onto each one; more water added if necessary and the card tipped to encourage runs.  Once dry the pieces were matted together onto the cards.  As you will see, each piece came out uniquely different depending on the amount of powder, water and how much the colours were allowed to run.

In the end, I decided to make the cards a landscape format.  The sentiment, from a set which is sadly no longer available, was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed in Copper detail embossing powder.  The placement of the sentiment depended on the background.
