More Halloween Tags

Having shared a journal page yesterday (see HERE); I decided to use the paper towel clean up sheet (used for cleaning the stamps used between changes of colour) to make two Halloween tags.

As a contrast, I decided to coat one of the #8 manilla tags with Apricot Metallic Gilding Polish by Cosmic Shimmer before adding the paper towel.
I split the two layers of paper towel; stamped using Sunflower, Vintage Photo and Venetian Orange Archival inks with a selection of stamps designed by Tim Holtz for Stampers Anonymous (Ledger Script, Slight Alterations, Mixed Media and Documented).  The top layer was glued to each tag and also sealed with Distress Collage Medium.  Once totally dry the edges were filed to remove the excess.

Next, I chose two images from the Paper Dolls Ancestors collection by Tim Holtz idea-ology, glued them to the tags, sealed and dried each image and went round adding shading with Faber-Castell Big Brush Markers.  I also blended some colour around the edges as well as adding colour (Sanguine) to the pumpkins on the second tag.

I had a metal brad which said 'family' and decided to add it to the second tag.  I also chose some words from the Chit Chat Occasions sticker pack to add, seal and then blend round with Big Brush Markers.
