A challenging set of Prompts

This page was created for the September challenge on Mission Inspiration with guest controller Peg Adkins Robinson.  Eight steps, three suggested colours (Potting Soil, Vermillion, Aquamarine) and a choice of five words to inspire.  I went with 'Vision' and found a quote which certainly fit the challenge: 'Hold the vision.  Trust the process.'

Step 1: I cut a piece of glossy card slightly smaller than A4 to fit my art journal and pounced all over the background with Pool alcohol ink and some blending solution on a felt pad.
For step 2 I used a natural sponge and pounced Vintage Photo distress paint across the bottom and up the left hand side and for step 3 Aquamarine Archival ink was added using some bubble wrap as a stamp.
For step 4 Cosmic Shimmer Clear Texture Paste was added through part of the 6" x 6" Nautilus stencil by TCW.  This was allowed to dry naturally.

For step 5 I added a few drops of Tomato Izink pigment ink into a mini mister, added water and sprayed around the nautilus shells to help them stand out.
For step 6, a piece of mixed media card was coloured with Potting Shed Archival ink, cut into random geometric shapes, then three structures were created in the bottom right hand corner.
To add some metallic shimmer or glitter for step 7, I used Aqua Nuvo Glitter by Tonic Studios on the structures and added some red mica fragments by Stampendous Frantage along the bottom.
The final step of the prompts was to add a pigeon feather (found on the ground outside my shed) floating down through the 'water'.
Next, I stamped the prompt word that I had chosen from the list using Versamark ink and heat embossing with bright White detail embossing powder by Cosmic Shimmer.
Finally, the rest of the quote was printed in a small font using my Dymo Letratag and added to the page.
