90th Birthday Card

This card was made for my husband's aunt on the occasion of her 90th birthday.  It was inspired by a quote on a card by DaizyBlueDesigns which can be found HERE. As you will see, I put my own twist on things and the card went down well with the birthday girl!
This is the original version which I saw online.
I started with a 14.8cm x 14.8cm white card blank and added a floral border all the way round the front using various Tapestry Stamps and Archival inks in Rose Madder, Vibrant Fuchsia, Cactus Flower and Majestic Violet.
On a separate piece of Sheena's stamping card, I stamped the 9 from the Typography Numbers by Docrafts using Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed it with holographic embossing powder.  The same inks and stamps used around the front of the card then embellished the '9' and the digit was fussy cut.
I have had a box of letter tiles from Papermania sitting in a cupboard for years and looked them out to spell the word 'ninety'.  I had to change the point scores for each letter as they didn't match Scrabble values and did so with a black micron pen.  These were added at the top of the card.
The '9' was glued in place and the Sentimentals Alphabet by Crafter's Companion used to add 'is only' in Black Onyx Versafine ink.
It only remained to add the rest of the quote 'in Scrabble', below the '9' using the same alphabet stamps and ink.
