4th Birthday Card: Floral Numbers

I was lucky enough to have some of the new floral number stamps from Claritystamp to play with in advance.  This was the first sample I created, a fairy 4th birthday card.
Stamp the floral 4 into the centre of a 5” x 5” kraft card blank in Versamark ink and emboss in white embossing powder.
Add Happy above, ‘th’ to the side and Birthday below in the same manner.
Cut a second 5” x 5” kraft card blank in half. Use the fifth largest nested square picot die to cut out the centre leaving a frame.
Using the smallest 4 stamp, add seven of them randomly on the frame in Versamark, embossed in white powder.
Add three of the teeny weenie fairies from the Toadstool Outline stamp set around the large floral 4 in the same manner as the rest of the stamping.
Using a separate nib for each colour, use the Pergamano blending pen to colour the images in Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides. Buff the colour off any embossing with a clean, dry paper towel.

To finish, glue the frame to the front of the card ensuring the edges and corners line up.

Hi Sarah,
What a lovely card - the stamp design has a bit of an art nouveau feel, and those light colours work really well against the neutral background. So interesting to see the step by step process too.
