I made a frame and decorated it with the Hope Filigree Swirl stamps from Claritystamp. The inner part of the frame can be replaced with a photo if the recipient so desires.
Using the second largest nested square picot die, cut an aperture from the centre of the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.
Use the next size down to cut an aperture from the centre of a 7.5” x 7.5” piece of black card. Stamp the large hope filigree swirl onto a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card left over from a previous project (Purple and pink alcohol ink rubbed off the Abstract squares 2 stencil onto the card see HERE for details).
Use Versamark ink and heat emboss in detail silver embossing powder.
Colour in the swirl using a metallic silver Sakura pen.
Stamp around the aperture on the front of the card using the smaller hope filigree swirl. Use Versamark ink but this time emboss in purple embossing powder. Use a stamp platform (12” x 12” Misti) and rotate the frame until all four corners are stamped.
Move the stamp and repeat the last step until the outer frame is complete.
Use the larger hope filigree swirl to add silver embossing to the inside of the black frame.
Glue the black frame inside the front of the card.
Add Happy Birthday and My love from the essential sentiments set onto the purple panel in Versamark ink and black embossing powder.
Add the panel to the inside of the card.
To finish, cut a piece of stencil card to 7.75” x 7.75” and glue to the inside front of the card to neaten it up.
