Stamping and Heat Embossing over Metal Flakes

I experimented with heat embossing stamped images over a background of metal flakes on this card.
Stamp one of the fairies from Fairies 2 into the centre of a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card in black ink.
Mask off.
Add Forget-Me-Not Archival ink to the 6” x 6” Gel Press plate and spread with a brayer. Use the larger of the Classic Filigree Swirl stamps to remove ink at the top and bottom of the plate. Press the plate face down onto the stencil card.
Repeat this step, this time lifting ink from each side of the plate. Add a second print over the first.
Remove the fairy mask.
Add the outer mask for the Classic Filigree Swirl corner stamp into the corner of the print.
Pounce metal leaf glue through the opening. Remove the mask and add Variegated Copper metal flakes onto the glue. Burnish off the excess.
Repeat in the other three corners.
Stamp the corner Classic Filigree stamp over each metal flake area in black ink and heat emboss in detail black embossing powder.
Add Sweetheart from the accompanying sentiment stamp set next to the fairy in the same manner.
Trim back the print to 6” x 6” and use a fancy punch in each corner (WeRMemory Keepers Cloud/Scallop).
Mat onto black card and trim leaving a narrow border. Use the same punch as before in each corner. Add to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
To finish, colour the fairy using water colour pencils.
