Sometimes you find the perfect combination of stencil and designer paper. You can keep things simple when stencilling as the paper does all the hard work for you.
Attach the stencil to a piece of the Great Lakes designer paper using masking tape to create a hinge at the top. Trim the excess paper.
Brush Black Shadow Artistry ink through the aperture using a stencil brush then go in with a blending tool to intensify the colour.
Add the outer section of the medium moon mask to the paper, lay the stencil back over the top and blend Titanium White acrylic paint through the aperture. Remove the mask and the stencil.
Add highlights using a white gel pen.
Trim back evenly to 6.5” x 6.5”. Add a white mat leaving a very narrow border.
Add to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.
Add one of Barbara’s word stickers. Go round the edge with a black micron pen.

Sarah I love it! I am in the mood for some quick cards to get me back into making them and this is simply lovely. It looks like it took a long time and you cleverly used tools to create a beauty. Construction work has ended but the painters are still here. Hopefully this will be their last week. I feel like my summer has been hijacked by contractors!! I suppose I could look at the bright side, when they complete this work it will look beautiful with no more chipped paint and rotting wood. But I still like to whine about it anyway!
