Dandelion Tag: A Meaningful Bookmark

I thoroughly enjoyed the craftalong with Barbara Gray yesterday afternoon on Hochanda 2-4pm.  If you missed it with all the excitement of Wimbledon and the World Cup Cricket it is still available on catch up.  This is the first project that I did using the stamp set.

Cover a #8 manilla tag with paper from an atlas and trim.
Add a layer of white gesso to knock back the colour and dry thoroughly.
Stamp the large dandelion stamps directly onto the tag using Tiger Lily, Buttercup and Acorn mini archival inks, offsetting the Buttercup and Acorn stamping.

Seal the surface of the tag with gel medium and dry thoroughly. Add colouring and shading to the dandelions using Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pens, blended with a Pergamano blending pen & nibs.
Pounce Pentart metal leaf glue onto each small dandelion stamp in turn using a sponge and stamp it onto the tag. Wash the stamps and sponge in warm soapy water. Add Variegated Copper (M11) metal flakes and burnish.
Add three of the sentiment stickers.
Add sparkle to the large dandelions using a clear Sakura Stardust pen.
