Creating a Frame on a Small Card

An easy way to create a frame round a small card.

Line up the square framer outer stencil over a 5” x 5” white card blank. Stamp the pine cone/baubles from the Stiletto Shoe set and ‘health, wealth and Happiness from the words stamps in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat emboss using clear embossing powder. Remove the stencil before heat embossing.

Lay the square framer stencil inner over the stamping creating an equal frame round the outside. Using a stencil brush add Peeled Paint Distress ink all around the outside of the card front.

With the square inner still in place stamp the triple pine branch multiple times around the outside of the card in Peeled Paint Distress Archival ink.

Add a squiggly line to the frame inner using a Sakura micron pen.

To finish, colour the stamped image using distress markers: Vintage photo, Festive Berries, Peeled Paint and Mustard Seed.
