Christmas Baubles

I don't usually do Christmas in July but these new grey board baubles and matching stencils from Claritystamp were such fun to play with.
Give a piece of 6” x 6” grey board a coat of white gesso.
Add a small amount of Tumbled Glass Distress acrylic paint to a glass mat, pick it up with a brayer and lightly add it to the gessoed grey board brayering in both directions.
Repeat with Broken China.
Add some Iris paint in the same manner.
Go back in with some Tumbled Glass.
Cut the large snowflake cluster stencil into two and lay the pieces over the grey board. Pounce Pearl paint over the whole of the board with a spot on sponge. Remove the stencils and dry with a heat gun.
Stamp Merry Christmas (Word Chain 13) onto the background in Versamark ink and heat emboss in silver embossing powder.
Go round the lettering with a royal blue micron pen.
Give one of the grey board baubles a coat of white gesso.
Add a coat of Royal Blue acrylic paint and dry thoroughly.
Lay the forest branch bauble stencil over the grey board bauble and add Versamark ink through it. Heat emboss with ice blue embossing enamel.
Rub a little silver gilding wax round the edge. Thread silver cord through the top of the bauble, glue the bauble in place, pull the cord taught and secure it at the back of the panel.
