Quick and Effective Stencil Card

A chance to craft a long with Barbara Gray on Hochanda this afternoon from 2-4pm.  Here is one of my samples made with the dandelion stencil.
Add the stencil to a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card using masking tape to make a hinge at the top. Run through an embossing machine to emboss the stencil into the card.
With the stencil still in place, use the clouds mask to add clouds to the background. I used Tenacious Teal, moving the stencil down the card, brushing upwards off the mask each time until the entire background was covered.
Lift the stencil and add black ink onto the back. Carefully replace the stencil and re emboss the card through a machine to transfer the ink. Carefully remove the stencil, add clear embossing powder and heat emboss.
Trim back to 6” x 6” and add to a 7” x 7” white card blank.
Add one of Barbara’s sentiment stickers to finish.
The cloud background is very subtle and contrasts well with the embossed image.

I like this one Sarah. Very effective. Have not bought the craftalong kit but might try it with another stencil. X
