A Layered Effect Background using Stencils

I love adding faux layered backgrounds to stencilled cards even though they are actually only one layer.
Attach the dandelion stencil to a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card using masking tape to create a hinge at the top. Brush Lush Lilac Artistry ink through the bottom of the stencil,
add Cotton Candy through the centre
and Lush Lilac at the top using a different stencil brush for each colour.
With the dandelion stencil still in place, add the Dotty Wave Petite stencil over the top and brush Lush Lilac ink through it. Move the Dotty Wave stencil and continue until the top two thirds of the background are covered.
Use the Leafy Swirl Petite stencil and Lush Lilac ink to add interest to the bottom third of the background in the same manner.
Add shading to the dandelions in pink and purple pencil.
Stamp three of the teeny weenie fairies/elves from the Toadstool Outline stamp set in Cactus Flower Archival ink.
Trim back an eighth of an inch from each side of the stencil card and add the topper to a 7” x 7” black card blank.
To finish, add one of Barbara’s sentiment stickers.
