Bauble Heart: The 12 Days of Christmas

One of my samples from the Sunday afternoon shows (7/7/19 2-4pm) with Barbara Gray on Hochanda.  It was hanging from the tree and you can still use catch up if you missed the shows.
Paint a grey board heart and bauble with white gesso.

Add a small amount of pink acrylic paint onto a glass mat. Use a brayer to spread out the paint and add to the grey board heart, brayering in both directions.
Repeat with fuchsia acrylic paint.
Add a top coat in the same manner using bright red acrylic paint.
Use the Word Chain Numbers and Versamark ink to add the numbers 1 to 12 down the right hand side of the heart. Heat emboss in gold embossing powder.
Add 'of' (Word Chain 15) and 'Christmas' (Word Chain 13) in the same manner. To add days, mask off the ‘birth’ in birthday (Word Chain 3) and add -s using the Alphabet Word Chain. Remove the masking tape after inking in Versamark ink and heat emboss with gold powder.
Add light and dark green acrylic paint to the bauble using dry brushing.
Once dry, add Versamark ink to the bauble through the holly and mistletoe bauble stencil and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Rub gold gilding wax round the edge of the bauble and the inside and outside edges of the heart.

Use gold elasticated ribbon to dangle the bauble inside the heart. Add further ribbon to hang up the heart.
