Clean and Simple Sympathy Card

The husband of a former colleague sadly died recently.  This is the card that I made for the staff to send to her.
The stencil that I used was actually originally made to be used on a wedding invitation, but I felt that it was also suitable with a few additions as a sympathy card.
Attach the Happy Couple stencil to a piece of 7" x 7" stencil card using masking tape to create a hinge at the top.  Brush Tumbled Glass Distress ink through the stencil.
Use the cloud mask underneath the stencil and Black Shadow Artistry ink add dark clouds.  Move the mask down the page until the background is covered.
Add the Thinking of You Art Nouveau sentiment in Onyx Black Versafine ink.
Add the couple's initials into the heart using a black micron pen.
Trim back the panel and mat onto black card leaving a narrow border.
Add to a second piece of 7" x 7" stencil card.
Mat the stencil card onto black card, trim back and add to a card blank measuring 8" x 8".

what a lovely card for what is always a difficult occasion to make one for.
