WOYWW 518: Two Weeks and Counting

Only two weeks until the 10th anniversary of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday (or Whizzday as Julia has taken to calling it).  I am so looking forward to the anniversary crop on 1st June (for details see HERE).  I will be getting to meet a few more WOYWW friends face to face for the first time as well as catching up with those I've met before.
My desk shows some stamping ready for a project.  When I use water colour pens or paints for colouring, I stamp in Antique Linen Distress Oxide so that the stamped lines blend into the colouring rather than standing out.  It gives more of a hand drawn and coloured effect.  I have been very busy making samples over the last week.  I posted one set yesterday and will be handing over two lots at the weekend in person, at Happy Stampers' Port Sunlight on Saturday and at Maria Moorhouse's workshop on Sunday.
Talking of Port Sunlight, I will be there early as I am meeting up with the Clarity crowd for breakfast across the road.  I know that Shaz and Doug are going to be there on Saturday but is there anyone else that I should be looking out for?  Maybe we could meet up for a coffee at a prearranged time.  How about 1pm in the cafe?  Suggestions and shout outs gratefully received.
I'll be along to visit you all after work this evening.  Please check out other desks via The Stamping Ground; see you there!

I hope you enjoy Happy Stampers, and your workshop. Looking forward to the crop, although after the result last night, might have to ask Margaret if I can listen to the final on the Sat night on my radio - can't miss that! Helen #1

It certainly keeps us busy does this DT stuff, it's difficult to take WoywW photo's when you've got secrets taking over the area. I've never been to Happy Stamper but everyone says it's a great place, enjoy your meet ups and workshops. Happy WoywW Tracey #5

You are busy, I hope you’re enjoying it...I found the time pressure and the arrival of stamps that I didn’t really like just made it a chore and took away my hobby. Mind you, you are probably more tenacious than me! The Happy Stampers show sounds great, I’ve never heard a negative word about it which is lovely. Even on that day you’ll be busy meeting and greeting! have fun, look forward to hearing all about it.

Hi Sarah. I might now add Antique Linen Distress Oxide to my shopping list at Happy Stampers on Saturday. Yes, I'll be there! Neet is also hoping to make it, health permitting. I'm ok to meet for a coffee at 1pm - I'll probably be hungry by that time! If it changes just leave a message on my blog. Have a lovely week and see you on Saturday, Heather x #11

Good morning, Sarah. Belated visits on my part this week. I hope you're feeling better. Oh, how I wish I could meet up with you all. I'm just not a world traveler. Maybe those of us in the states could start planning now for the 15th anniversary. lol We could all meet up on the same day as our UK friends. Hmmm got my brain a thinkin'.
Creative Blessings! Kelly #28
