This is the only tag which I created as a sample for the Royal Talens shows on Hochanda recently. It was largely created using off cuts from earlier projects. I am entering it into the Use a Quote challenge over on Tag Tuesday.
I started by adding the top layer of the paper towel mop up sheet from an earlier card (see HERE) onto a #8 manilla tag. This was sealed with matt medium, dried and trimmed.
I then added strips which were offcuts from the birthday card background (see HERE).
The whole tag was sealed with matt medium, dried, then shading and highlights added with Deep Brown Gouache paint and a water brush.
Finally, several quotes from the Small Talk sticker book (Tim Holtz idea-ology) were added.
