Art Journal Page: In the Style of Klimt?

This journal page was produced in response to the Explore Your Creativity Challenge 6 over on Junk Journal Junkies and Mindful Art.  The technique to be used was the style of Klimt; the colour was to be predominantly gold and the product to be included was texture paste.  It's not my favourite piece, but I am determined to share all my art this year, whether I love it or not!  My influence for this piece was Klimt's Portrait of Adele Bloch Bauer.

I worked on a piece of mixed media card  (18.5cm x 19.5cm).  Having found a magazine image that I wanted to collage onto the page, I drew round it lightly in pencil so as to leave that area of the page clear of texture paste.  I dragged Pebeo High Density Modelling Paste through four different stencils (from top left going clockwise: the Tim Holtz mini stencil Ringer/THMS056, the large layering stencil Dot Fade/THS006, the Wired stencil by That Special Touch and along the bottom a stencil by That Special Touch which must have been discontinued as I can no longer find it online).
Once dry, I painted the background with Pebeo Dyna Studio Iridescent paints in Gold (352) and Precious Gold (350).
I then lightly rubbed Pebeo Gilding Wax in Antique Gold and Empire Gold over some of the raised areas.
Once happy, the chosen image (fussy cut from a Sunday supplement magazine) was glued into place and some gold glitter tape added at both sides.
I added further highlights using a 05 black micron pen and a medium gold metallic pen by American Arts as well as a cascade of Stampendous Gold Lux Mica and Glitter Mix held in place using Cosmic Shimmer Flitter Glue.
To finish the journal page, I edged one of the Tim Holtz Quote Chips in the same metallic gold pen before adding it to the page, as well as using one of the stickers from his Small Talk collection.
