Tag: From small beginnings...

This tag was originally created for the January prompt on Tag It Tuesday: Circles; Add fabric; Beginnings; Drips, where at least two of the prompts had to be followed.  It is also suitable for the first fortnightly Tag Tuesday prompt of 2018: New Beginnings so I will share it there also.
I started by applying a piece of copy paper mop up (brayer clean up) to a #8 manilla tag, sealing with matte gel medium, drying and trimming.
I added Dreamweaver embossing paste (metallic silver) through the Bubbles mini layering stencil (THMS002) at the top and the Splotches mini layering stencil (THMS037) at the bottom.  I wanted the contrast between large and small 'circles' to fit the quote which I was planning to use.
Once dry, I dripped Izink pigment ink in Bamboo onto the tag, spritzed a little water and let the ink run; thus fulfilling a second prompt.
I had a small fish, die cut using a die from the Sue Wilson Fillables set (Fish Bowl), which had been created with alcohol ink on the back of glossy photo paper (see HERE for further details).  This was perfect to help create the underwater feeling that I was going for.
Finally, the proverb 'From small beginnings come great things.' was printed onto clear plastic using my Dymo Letratag, trimmed and placed in the centre of the tag.  The only prompt for Tag It Tuesday which I didn't use was 'add fabric', but three out of four is more than sufficient to enter the challenge.
