As Stoke City play in red and white, I decided to create my own washi tape to use as the red stripes on the page, using 5cm wide masking tape. I added three strips to my glass mat and coloured them with Candied Apple Distress Oxide, spritzing lightly with water and drying well.
I used the Ledger Script stamps (Tim Holtz/Stamper's Anonymous) and Archival ink in Vermillion and Red Geranium all over the tape. Further layers were added using a variety of stamps from the Classics #6, Documented and School Desk stamp sets using Vermillion, Red Geranium and Carnation Red Archival inks. For the final layer, I used stamps from the Mixed Media set and Sepia Archival ink. The three strips were added to a piece of mixed media card (18.5cm x 19.5cm), leaving 3cm of white space in between each one. The numbers 2 and 0 from the Tim Holtz Grungeboard Digits set were coloured in White acrylic paint and the centre of the 0 in Candied Apple Distress paint. I wrote the date of the match on the '-', the goal scorers and times of the goals on the '2' and the name of the opposing team on the '0' using a Sakura black micron pen. These were then added to the page. The word 'Joy' from the Christmas Quote Chips by Tim Holtz was added, then the wee footballer from the Claritystamp Wee Sports stamp set was added in Jet Black Archival ink above. Finally, the starting line up and various facts from the game were added along the white stripes, using the same Sakura black micron pen.
