Ice Tag

This tag was created in response to the prompt 'Ice': the mini mission for December with the Mission Inspiration group.

I always complete the mini missions on a #8 manilla tag and this was no exception.  I added a piece of copy paper that had been used to clean my brayer and small round gelli plate after a previous project.

To create an 'icier' effect, I overlaid this with a piece of deli paper which had also been used to mop up the same ink colours from a blending mat.  Once glued, sealed and trimmed, it gave a translucent look to the background.

All the stamping was done in Versamark ink and heat embossed using True White detail embossing powder.  First the icicles from the Simply Angelic set (Andy Skinner) at the top and one of the Snowflake Kisses stamps (designed by Lisa Horton for Creative Expressions) along the bottom.

The smallest snowflake from the Snowflake Kisses set was stamped and embossed multiple times.

The prompt word was added using the Word Chain Alphabet by Claritystamp.

The remainder of the made up quote was printed onto plastic using the Dymo Letratag, trimmed and added.

Finally, three double sided peel off snowflakes were added and Nuvo Diamond Glitter (Tonic Studio) stuck onto the top surface of each one to add some sparkle.
