WOYWW 630: Two to Go

Yesterday was a busy day of schoolwork and data, but the school year is nearly over so I can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Not much changes on my desk from Wednesday to Wednesday. I am still completing a daily drawing - half the year done now. I am determined to finish off the year too.

I made a mistake with day 27 as I misread my handwriting - the prompt was actually prize not price lol.  No Eva on the other side of the desk today as I was so swamped with work yesterday that I had to focus on that.  She will be able to come over on both my days off next week though so I am looking forward to that - that's if she's still speaking to me after yesterday's excellent football amtch!  Don't forget to check out other desks at Stamping Ground as there are plenty of others who join in with WOYWW.

It will be tomorrow before I do most of my visiting as there is another twilight session at school this evening.  Thanks for all the good wishes for our anniversary.  We did manage to enjoy a takeaway together after I had finished my parents' evening appointments.

Eva will be talking to you, she knows the importance of magnanimity in defeat, just as we should know the graciousness of victory. It eventually turned into a stocker of a game, but my word, the first half was dull. Love the mis-read prompt, made me smile! Your nose is really on the grindstone at this time of year, so glad you can see the light appearing at the end of the tunnel, you must be feeling the need for a break. Just in time for all the school Covid rules and protocols to be changed again! Ay ay ay!

I'm in awe of your drawings. You draw so well. That is something I don't even PRETEND to do. Not in my wheelhouse. Happy WOYWW from # 12.

Happy WOYWW. I love your Day 23 the most. Simple and clever. I bet you are looking forward to the end of term. How quick has this school year gone?! It is hard to believe that 2 of my grandchildren will be starting school in September - one progressing into full time and the other is starting with mornings only. Ali x #15

Sarah, always, love the inkies! Favorite this week....the foliage...yep, I'm already dreaming of fall! It's HOT in Georgia and we still have July and August to go through....ugggghhhhh! Here's hoping that the light continues to get to you quickly for that tunnel! I can only imagine wanting to get through with the school year! I'm sure it feels like the "little engine!" Why, was Eva supporting Germany? Is she German? If she is, I didn't know it! I'm not interested in football enough to watch it, but I was rooting for England (even though I'm genetically German going back to the 1700s)! Glad England won - for the first time since 1966 against Germany! Funny about the price/prize - I think you already had prize before, so it's better this way! Happy WOYWW! Hang in there, school's almost over xx zsuzsa #31

I just don't know how you think of what to draw for some of those words. I mean "hot"!!@. I'd have been so stumped but you carried it off as usual. Well done.
Glad the end of the school year is nigh for you, just think of that lovely holiday you will get and hopefully, good weather with. it.

Looks like this has been a busy week Sarah, :) And I had to chuckle over that being your own handwriting that tripped you up. ( I am constantly asking hubs what he jotted down on different job description work orders :) ~Stacy #33

Hi Sarah, I'm behind with my visits this week just got distracted yesterday. I'm sure you'll be pleased when it's the end of term and you have more time to craft with Eva, not too long now. I often wonder how we managed in teaching before we had all these meetings Lol! Oh well I guess someone must get something out of them. Take care and happy belated woyww, Angela x23x

Thanks for your return visit, Sarah, and for your good wishes and prayers for 9th July. Everything is falling into place now - I had my first phone appointment today with another tomorrow, so I am clearer about when and where I need to turn up for things! My studio is definitely usable now, even if I haven't managed to finish the tidying yet. Not sure how much more I'll be able to do before I go into hospital.

I love your daily drawings, I enjoy my 'drawing collaboration' I have going on with my son but we do only 3 drawings a week (every day was too much a 'task') I especially like your 'hot' drawing, awesome! Enjoy your weekend lovely one, hug from the Netherlands! Marit #13

Hi Sarah.
I love seeing your sketches. Thanks for sharing. My brother in law always told me you can get through anything if you know there's a light at the end of the tunnel. You got this! Enjoy your days off. Creative Blessings!
