Another Clean and Simple Leaver's Card

For my second leaver's card, I once again kept it clean and simple, combining a stencil with stamping.

Add the Poppies stencil to a piece of Clarity stencil card using masking tape to create a hinge at the top.

Blend Blaze Artistry ink onto the poppy heads using a small blending Brush.

Add Black Shadow Artistry ink into the Poppy centres and Amazon Trail/ Olive Martini Artistry ink on the leaves and stems in the same way.

Trim to 6” x 6” and mat onto a piece of black card die cut using the 6.25” nested square picot die.

Stamp one of Cherry Green’s Butterflies from set 2 onto a piece of Amazonia designer card in Jet Black Archival ink.

Fussy cut the butterfly and add it to the topper. Draw the antennae back in with a black Posca pen.

Draw a light pencil line along the bottom of an 8” x 8” white card blank. Stamp ‘Sorry you are leaving’ along the line in Onyx Black Versafine ink using a Clarity alphabet stamp set (discontinued). Once dry, erase the pencil line.

To finish, add the topper to the card.
