Linocut Backdrop Birthday Card

For my first sample using one of the new linocut backdrop and flower stamp sets that are being launched today I created a birthday card.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 5.5” nested square die and a mat from black card using the 5.75” nested square picot die.

Blend Kitsch Flamingo, Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides onto the large square backdrop stamp using foam tools. Stamp the background onto the topper.

Add the square Linocut backdrop stamp over the top in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Add two of the Linocut Flower stamps and one of the leaves in the same ink.

Add two of the Christmas & Celebrations Word Sticker stamps in the same way.

To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.
