Leaver's Card with a Pun

This card was for a colleague who teaches English, so I couldn't resist a play on words.

Add the Clarity Wild Privet stencil to a piece of stencil card using a piece of masking tape to make a hinge at the top.

Blend Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint and Rustic Wilderness Distress inks through the apertures using Clarity stencil brushes.

Add stamping in Forest Moss Distress Oxide using the sonnet stamp from the Mixed Media Journal stamp set. Remove the stencil.

Trim a small amount off each side of the stencil card, mat onto black card and trim leaving a narrow border. Add the topper to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.

Stamp ‘Sorry (Line sentiments 3) you’re (Mini Word Chains 19&20) Leafing’ (Letterbox Alphabet) in Onyx Black Versafine ink onto a strip of Clarity stencil card.

To finish, mat the strip onto black card leaving a narrow border and add it to the front of the card.
