I like the idea of mirroring stamps and colours using a gel press plate to create a partial background. Here I worked with one of the Clarity Linocut Flower stamp sets.Add the 6” x 6” gel press to the mega mount. Add a little Calypso Blue acrylic paint to the plate and blend it out using a brayer. Press the Linocut Flower stems into the paint.Add a little Sea Breeze acrylic paint over the top in the same way. Press the leaf stamps into the surface.Allow the paint to dry. Lay the rectangle embedder onto a piece of Clarity stencil card. Add a thin layer of white acrylic paint to the gel press and ‘stamp’ onto the stencil card. Die cut the topper using the 5.5” nested square die and a mat from black card using the 5.75” nested square picot die. Mirror the ghost leaves on the gel print by stamping onto the other half using the same stamps in Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide. Add sentiments in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using the Christmas & Celebrations Word sticker stamps. To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.
