The Kiss of the Sun: A Tropical Card

I found the perfect background card to fit these poetry stamps from Clarity.  I let the card do most of the work and coloured the frame to match.

Trim a piece of the Waimea Falls designer petites to 6.75” x 4.75”.

Stamp the Kiss of the sun poetry frame on the left hand side in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Colour the birds and flowers using Derwent Inktense pencils, blended out with a watercolour brush pen.

Add further pencil to emphasise the horizon and scene. Extend the scene outside the frame.

Add the verse on the right hand side in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

To finish, trim a 7” x 7” black card blank to 7” x 5” and add the topper to the front of the card.
