Clean and Simple Fairy Card

For my first sample with the new Mel's Magic Moments stamp collection from Clarity, I decided to keep things clean and simple.  I also had a play with my new box of Derwent Inktense pencils.

Use the 4.5” nested square die to cut a piece of Clarity stencil card. Use the 4.75” nested square picot die to cut a piece of black card.

Stamp the Magic Moments sentiment onto the stencil card in Onyx Black Versafine ink. Add the cluster of stars in the same ink.

Stamp one of the fairies so she is kneeling on the first M of the sentiment.

Add the cluster for a second time and the large star to link the clusters to the sentiment.

Colour the lettering, fairy and stars using Derwent Inktense pencil blended out with a watercolour brush pen.

To finish, add clear sparkle pen to the starts and the fairy’s wings, mat onto the black picot die cut and add to the front of a 5” x 5” white card blank.
