Quarantine Quickie #23 & #24: Shades of Grey / Stormy Weather

I have been watching Barbara Gray's Facebook live sessions in the SHAC Shack each weekday morning at 10am.  I decided to use a cheat version of one of her ideas to create tag #23 in my Quarantine Quickie journal, following the prompts over on Mission Inspiration.
Draw the prompt in bubble writing onto a #8 manilla tag in pencil. Next time I would use the Tall Letterbox Alphabet Outline stamps as they would make a much neater job.
Go over the pencil with a black micron pen and erase the pencil once the ink is dry.
Mask off the writing using Pebeo masking fluid and allow to dry.
Stamp the large Cherry Green Doodle-ology Heart stamp over the tag in Smokey Grey Versafine ink.
When the ink is dry, erase the masking fluid.
Go over the lettering with a white gel pen.
To finish, add shading using a 6B pencil, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib. Also add a shadow to each of the letters for a 3D effect.
The storm in a teacup stamp from Claritystamp was an obvious choice for the prompt ‘Stormy Weather’. Add the top layer of a paper towel mop up sheets to a #8 manilla tag, seal it with matte medium, dry with a heat gun and trim the excess. Add a further layer of matte medium and dry thoroughly.
Stamp the storm in a teacup stamp in Cobalt Blue archival ink.
Add the mask.
Use the Clarity Cloud mask and a spot on sponge to add clouds using Dusty Concord and Hickory Smoke archival ink. Move the mask down the tag and use each side in turn. At the bottom of the tag, add Faded Jeans and Mermaid Lagoon archival ink in the same manner, this time using the Hills & Mountains mask. Remove all masks.
Colour the image using watered down Sakura Moonlight and Stardust pens.
Add highlights to the sails and the water using a white gel pen.
To finish hand write the prompt using a black micron pen.
