Quarantine Quickies #39 & #40: Honey Trap / Ring of Fire

These are probably the quickest tags I've made for my Quarantine Quickie tag journal.  I was inspired by Barbara Gray's doodles for the first.  I am catching up with the prompts on Mission Inspiration using stamps from Clarity as usual.

Cover a #8 manilla tag with inky copy paper, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.

Stamp the dream catcher from the Dream Dangles stamp set in Watering Can archival ink.

Add the bee from Jayne’s Agapanthus stamp set several times in the same ink.

Colour the dream catcher and the bees with Faber-Castell big brush markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs.

Add white gel pen highlights to the bees wings.

To finish, add a string to hang the dream catcher and the prompt with a black fine liner pen.

Cover a #8 manilla tag with another section of the same inky copy paper, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.

Add the largest stamp from the Leonie’s Wings Circus stamp set in Red Geranium archival ink.

Add further stamping from the same set in Tiger Lily and Orange Blossom archival inks.

Add shading using Faber-Castell big brush markers, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs.

To finish, add the prompt with a black fine liner pen.
