Quarantine quickie #21 & #22: Chalk & Cheese / Big Fish

Two more pages from my Quarantine Quickie tag journal following the prompts on Mission Inspiration.  Here are #21 and #22.
I thought these two characters were the epitome of chalk and cheese. One very formal and drab and the other free, bright and barefoot.  Add the top layer of a paper towel mop up sheet to a #8 manilla tag, seal with matte medium and trim the excess.
Stamp Douglas and Annabel (Claritystamp) onto a piece of stencil card in Onyx black Versafine ink.
Colour the characters with water colour pencils and blend out with a watercolour brush pen.
Fussy cut the characters and add them to the tag.
Add shading around and below the characters with a Faber-Castell big brush marker blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
To finish, hand write the quote using a black micron pen.
The Lion Fish stamp designed by Cherry Green is the largest fish stamp that I have. So large that it wouldn’t fit on the tag. I decided to work with it anyway. Add a piece of inky copy paper to a #8 manilla tag, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.
Stamp the Lion Fish off the right hand side of the tag in Hickory Smoke archival ink.
Colour the fish with Faber-Castell big brush markers blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
Add two smaller fish from the Tropical Fish stamp set in the same ink as before.
Colour them in the same way as the large fish.
To finish, add a hand written prompt using a black micron pen.

Love chalk and cheese. So utterly different. Off to look on the clarity site.
Have a good day
