Clean and Simple Flower Frame for a Poem

I created a circle of flowers to frame the Kiss of the Sun poem on a clean and simple small card.

Using the 2” and 4” nested circle dies, cut toppers from a piece of Clarity stencil card. Use the 2.25” and 4.25” nested circles picot dies to cut mats for the toppers from black card.
Stamp the kiss of the sun verse onto the smallest topper in Onyx Black Versafine ink. Mat up the topper.
Lay the verse over the larger topper and mark the edges. Remove the verse. Stamp the flowers at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock around the edges of the topper in the same ink as before.
Repeat, placing the flowers in the spaces. Erase the pencil once the ink is dry.
Colour the flowers using Derwent Inktense pencils, blended out with a watercolour brush pen.
Add the topper onto the black picot mat. Add the verse to the centre of the topper.
Lay the topper onto the front of a 5” x 5” white card blank and mark the edges lightly in pencil. Stamp the flowers into each corner in black ink. Erase the pencil lines.
Colour the flowers and blend out to match the topper.
To finish, add the topper to the front of the card.
