Stencilling and A Gel Print Showcasing Small Stamps

For my final card in this series I used a mixture of gel printing in alcohol inks and stencilling to create a backdrop for the small stamps.
Lay the Abstract squares stencil over the 6” x 6” Gel Press plate and press down well. Add Alcohol inks in Sail Boat Blue, Raspberry and wild Plum and use blending solution on a felt pad to blend out the colours. Allow the ink to dry and remove the stencil.
Brayer a thin layer of Buff Titanium acrylic paint over the gel plate and pull a print onto 7” x 7” stencil card.
Lay the stencil between two pieces of stencil card having spritzed with isopropyl alcohol and run through an embossing machine. NB Use a mask and gloves and spray in a well ventilated area or outside if possible.
Lay stamps from the kitchen set onto the gel printed background until happy with layout. Stamp them in Versamark ink and heat emboss with detail white embossing powder.

Lay the inky stencil back over each of the two embossed pieces in turn and use blending solution on a felt pad to drag the ink off each side of the stencil onto the matching background.

Use a craft knife to cut out each stamped area from the gel print leaving a series of apertures for a separate project.
Mat the stamped images onto the matching embossed/inky background.
To finish, trim back to 6.5” x 6.5”, mat onto purple card and add to a 7” x 7” white card blank.

Neat idea. Would I be brave enough for such bright colours reckon my version would be a lot lighter. X
