Journal Page with Oxide Spray background

This is the second journal page that I made with the new mixed media journal stamps from Clarity.  This time I used Oxide sprays in the background.
Lightly spray Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides over a piece of stencil card trimmed to 8.5” x 8.5”. Dry thoroughly then add a little more Victorian Velvet.
Dry again then go back in with Spun Sugar and a Little Shaded Lilac Oxide spray.
When dry lay all six petite mandala stencils over the page and spray with Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. Remove the stencils and dry thoroughly.
Blend some Victorian Velvet and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks through the petite dotty wave stencil in various areas, mist lightly with water and dry again.
Stamp the Chevron from the new mixed media stamp set in Pink Peony Archival ink. Add the sonnet script in Watering Can Archival ink.
Add the chequered butterfly in watering Can, the splodge in both Watering Can and Pink Peony and the criss-cross design in both colour inks too.
Seal the background with gel medium and dry thoroughly.
Add the magazine clipping, seal and dry.
Add shading around the image using Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pens blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
To finish add five of Barbara’s word stickers.
