Paper Piecing and Stencilling Combined on a Card

Here is an alternative way of using small stamps on a larger card.  Instead of colouring the images this time, I stamped onto designer paper.
Attach the framework circles stencil to a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card using masking tape to create a hinge at the top. Brush Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress inks through the apertures using ink left over on Clarity stencil brushes for a really subtle effect.
Arrange the larger stamps from the Kitchen stamp set in the apertures until happy with the layout. As you will see later,  I changed things around a little and left the additional words off the final card.
Stamp them in Onyx Black Versafine ink, heat embossing in clear embossing powder onto scraps of coordinating Designer papers and fussy cut.
Add the cup cake and small cake slice into the empty circles in the same way. Stamp For my Sweet Friend onto a piece of the same designer paper, trim and add a black border using a black alcohol marker.
Glue all the fussy cut items into place. Trim the topper to 6.75” x 6.75” taking an eighth of an inch off each side and add to a 7” x 7” black card blank.
