Raindrop Acrylic Mirrors Craft Shed Sign

I enjoyed creating a plaque for my shed.  I decided to turn the small acrylic shapes into raindrops dangling below a rainbow.

Give the chipboard plaque a coat of white gesso and dry.
Using a bendy ruler mark out the rainbow in pencil.
Paint each stripe in appropriate shades of acrylic paint.
Add clouds to the background using the cloud mask, a stencil brush and Forget-Me-Not archival ink.
Stamp Sarah’s Craft Shed in Black Versafine ink using the Alphabet Word Chains and heat emboss in clear powder.
Remove the protective coating from one side of the three small acrylic tear drops and two of the large ones, spray with mirror mist for plastic and dry with a heat gun. Remove the protective covering from the other side.
Punch five small holes along the bottom of the plaque. Add different coloured wire to each tear drop wrapping it around the mirrors to keep them facing the right way.
Hook the wire through the holes and attach with tape. Add further wire wrapping around the tops of the tear drops in the same colours.
To finish, add ribbon through the holes at the top of the plaque, knot and trim ready to hang.
