Die Cutting Vinyl

For my final sample using these dies, I decided to work with a different medium, black sticky backed vinyl.
Cut a piece of sticky backed black vinyl slightly larger than the Floral Forest die, lay the aperture die into the centre and die cut.
Remove the vinyl from the die keeping the backing paper in place.
Use the second largest and the fifth smallest of the nested square picot dies to cut a wide frame from 7” x 7” stencil card, use the matching Groovi plate to ensure that they are lined up exactly before cutting.
Use the second and fifth largest of the nested square picot dies to cut a narrower frame from a piece of Toffee Apple designer paper, use the matching Groovi plate to ensure that they are lined up exactly before cutting.
Remove the backing from the vinyl and place it face down on a glass mat ensuring it is flat. Lay the white frame face down over the top. Add an off cut of Rainbow River designer paper into the middle to finish.  Turn it over and ensure that the vinyl is stuck down to the frame and paper.
Add the Toffee Apple paper frame over the top to neaten ensuring that the two outer frames line up exactly.
Add seven of Barbara’s word stickers around the centre of the Toffee Apple paper frame.
To finish, add to a 6” x 6” black card blank.
