Floral Sympathy Card: 4th Year Blogiversary

I like to play around with aperture dies most of the time, cutting into them, changing the shape and mixing them with other dies rather than use them in their complete form.  As this was my first experiment with this particular die, I kept the theme monotone and decided to turn it into a sympathy card.
Cut the Floral Forest Aperture die into a piece of large stencil card cut in half. Repeat.
Using the two outermost dies and the fourth and fifth smallest of the nested squares picot dies cut two frames from a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card. By lining up the dies carefully using the matching Groovi plate for help you will also create a 7” x 7” frame, a wide square frame and have the square from the centre to use on a separate project.

Trim the die cut apertures to leave a narrow border all round. Lay the larger picot frame face down over the Groovi plate and line up the smaller frame to ensure they are evenly spaced. Place one of the aperture die cuts into the bottom left corner and mark the areas that need trimming.Glue the piece into the larger frame
Cut away the unneeded parts. Glue the remaining piece to the two frames creating a fancy in fill in the corner.

Repeat the process with the second aperture die cut in the opposite corner of the frames.

Add the frame to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.
To finish, die cut Thinking of You from the Floral Frame set of the same name from a left over piece of stencil card and add it to the centre of the card.
I almost forgot, today is my 4th year blogiversary although I've only been blogging every day for just over two of them.

Hi Sarah.
Thanks for popping by.
I enjoyed seeing all the steps that went into creating your sympathy card - it's always fascinating to get an insight into other people's creative processes.
Your work desk/shed is amazing! It will be even more lovely when painted blue!
