Art Journal Page: Oxide and Stamped Background

I absolutely adore these new mixed journaling stamps from Clarity.  I haven't been able to put them down since I got them.  I have used them for card making, journaling and even home decor projects as they are so versatile.  Here is a journal page.  Watch Lou at 12pm and 4pm today on Hochanda.com to see more ideas and demos.
Add Old Paper Distress Oxide to the A4 blending mat, mist well with water and drag ink across the mat using a finger. Place a piece of stencil card cut to 8.5” x 8.5” into the ink and pick up. Dry thoroughly.
Pick up the remaining ink in the same way and dry thoroughly again. Clean off the blending mat.
Repeat step 1 using Tea Dye Distress Oxide.

Repeat using Ground Espresso Oxide.

Repeat using Old Paper for a final time.

Using the foam tool, blend Tea Dye Distress Oxide through the petite Dotty wave stencil in several places. Mist lightly with water to oxidise and dry thoroughly.
Repeat the last stage using Old Paper Distress Oxide and the brick wall petite stencil.
Add stamping using Ground Espresso mini Archival ink and the new mixed media stamps.

Seal the background using a thin layer of gel medium and dry thoroughly.  Add a clipping from a magazine (bottom half of a man) and seal.
Add shading around the image using Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pens blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
To finish colour several of Barbara’s word stickers in Old Paper Distress Oxide, add them to the page and go round the edges with a dark brown fine liner.
