Two Small Stamps Create a Large Wreath

Maria Moorhouse is bringing a One Day Special from Claritystamp starting this evening at 6pm on Hochanda with a further show at 8pm and more tomorrow at 9am, 1pm and 5pm.  There are acrylic shapes and some fabulous new stamp sets.  I used one of the sets to create this simple but effective Christmas card.
Cut a piece of stencil card to 5.75” x 5.75”. Lay the circle framer stencil over the top and lightly draw round the shape in pencil.
Using two of the smaller branch stamps stamp each one alternately around the circle in Versamark ink and heat emboss with gold powder.

Add an individual stamp on the outside of the wreath in the same manner to balance up the pattern.
Add the sentiment Peace and Joy to the inside of the wreath, gold embossing as before.
Also add a small branch below.
Using a Pergamano blending pen and individual nibs for each ink, colour the branches in Green Garland and Blaze Artistry inks, alternating the colours both inside and outside the wreath.

Mat the topper onto green and red paper to tone in with the colouring leaving narrow borders.
Stamping and gold embossing directly onto the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank, use the large branch stamp and a stamp platform. Rotate the front of the card to ensure even stamping in the corners.
Colour using the same ink colours as for the topper.
Before adding the topper to the card, go over the colouring with a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen and allow to dry.
