Farewell Colleague: A Leaver's Card

I used one of my favourite stencils for this card.  It allowed me to add a pun to this card for a colleague who was leaving.  I worked on an 8" x 8" white card blank to allow space for everyone to sign.

Add the Wild Privet Clarity stencil to a piece of 7" x 7" stencil card using a piece of masking tape to create a hinge at the top.  Brush Twisted Citron Distress Oxide through the stencil using a stencil brush.

Add touches of Peeled Paint Oxide in the same manner.

Lay the Dotty Wave Stencil over the top and brush Mowed Lawn Oxide through it in places to add interest to the background.

Trim back to 6.5" x 6.5" and mat onto black card leaving a narrow border.

Use the Sue Wilson Stitched Flags to cut a white flag and a black mat.  Hand write 'Sorry you are leafing' onto the white flag using a Sakura micron pen.  Mat up the flags.

Add the flag to the topper.

To finish, add the topper to an 8" x 8" pre made white card blank.
