JJJAMA Challenge 21: Red, Orange, Pink, Watch the Birdie.

Just under the wire with this coming of age challenge for Junk Journal Junkies and Mindful Art.  The theme of Watch the Birdie gave me the perfect excuse to go Bird Crazy!
This will be a quick step by step for once!  First step: blended Dylusions paint in Squeezed Orange, Bubblegum Pink and Postbox Red in patches over the page and dried with a heat gun.
Second Step: Having arranged lots of sentiments from the Click Photo Sentiments stamp set (designed by Marion Emberson for Personal Impressions) onto an acrylic block, stamped them all over the background using Archival ink in Venetian Orange, Vibrant Fuchsia and Carnation Red.
Third Step: Die cut the Sizzix Originals Filmstrip die twice out of Sheena's stamping card and glue to pages.
Fourth Step: Stamp four of the mini Bird Crazy stamps by Tim Holtz onto Sheena's stamping card using Jet Black Archival ink.  Colour using three of the Kuretake Clean Color pens in Geranium Red, Lemon Yellow and Dark Pink and a water brush at times.  Die cut the birds and add them to the centre of each film aperture.  Brush some of the Red and Orange archival inks over the film strips to tone down the white.
The final step was to stamp 'Watch the Birdie' using Versamark ink with the Claritystamp Word Chain Alphabet and detail black embossing powder.
