The current prompt over on Tag Tuesday is Books and as the second series of Good Omens, one of my favourite books by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, started streaming on TV on Friday, this seemed like a good fit.
I started by using one of my stash of paper towel mop up sheets, adding it to a #8 manilla tag, sealing with matte medium and trimming once dry. For the books, I added one of the Darkroom Door Bookworm stamps in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear powder. On a separate sheet, I stamped the Clarity New Design Club candle (#107) in Watering Can Archival ink, seal the image with matte medium and dry thoroughly. Colour the image with Faber-Castell big brush markers blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs. Fussy cut the candle and add the it to the tag in front of the books. Add the bells from the Wee Folk wedding stamps (#6) in the same manner as the books. To finish, add the prompt in Jet Black Archival ink using a discontinued Clarity alphabet.

Hi Sarah, this is a wonderful tag. Love the books with the candle, people read by candlelight for hundreds of years. And books really do bring the light of knowledge into our lives. Thanks so much for joining us at AJJ, much appreciated. Valerie
